New Business Consultants, Inc. (NBCI) has developed an Accounting Advisory Service to address the needs of growing companies by bridging the gap in accounting expertise between start-up and full staff. We retain a core of experienced professionals at all levels of accounting, including certified QuickBooks Pro Advisors, and we would be delighted to put our talent at your fingertips.

The intent of the Accounting Advisory Service is to provide guidance and solutions to operational questions as they arise in the normal course of business as though you had a bookkeeper, analyst, Controller or CFO of your own to call upon.

Should particular circumstances arise that require additional research, corrective action, or process development, NBCI will give you a Quick Quote of the time and estimated cost to accomplish the task on a project basis. In cases that require specialized expertise, we will provide referrals from our network of associates.

The content and terms of our Accounting Advisory Service follows.

Scope – New Business Consultants, Inc. (NBCI) will provide:

•

Access via phone or e-mail to all levels of Finance and Accounting staff:


	- Bookkeeper - General Accountant - Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor - Financial Planner/Analyst - Controller - CFO

•

Interface with client CPA for questions related to tax planning and reporting

•

Recommendations for additional development of the client’s accounting tools

•

Referrals to specialized service providers for needs beyond NBCI expertise

Process Requirements:


•	Completion of the client orientation process and development of client Profile


•	Client contact information for direct and supervisory personnel


•	Access to copies of accounting documents and system files


•	Submission of Profile updates as often as client systems or staff change

Deliverables will be in the form of:


•	Telephone or e-mail response to accounting process questions


•	E-mail QuickBooks steps and/or screen shots to answer data entry queries


•	Quick Quotes for project work based on recommendations of staff

Implementation Sequence:


•	Meet with client to review current accounting software and processes


•	Completion of client Profile


•	Submission of client contact sheet


•	Activation of client service

Delivery Time:


•	Dependent on successful completion of client orientation, service will be activated immediately


•	Response to queries will be within 12 business hours but same day whenever possible (business hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday excepting national holidays)

Cost of Services:


•	Client initiation fee for orientation meetings and profile creation is $1,000.00, billed upon acceptance of this proposal and payable Net 15 days.


•	On-call service fee is $750.00 per month, billed on the first of each calendar month and payable Net 15 days. The first period billing will be prorated through the last day of the month.


•	Emergency support (less than 2 hour response time) will be rendered providing personnel is available and billed at $250.00 per hour.


•	Active Advisory Service clients will also receive preferred pricing on any project work NBCI is engaged to provide.

Terms and Conditions: The minimum term of this engagement is six (6) months. Thereafter, the commitment will be month-to-month, cancellable with thirty days written notice.
